Padula enters her first year as head coach in 2022.
Padula arrives to Neumann after a five-year stint as the head coach at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where she coached at the Division II level. During the 2021 season, Padula led the Devils to the second round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and was instrumental in guiding one of her players to first team All-CACC, first team All-Region and third team All-American honors. Under her tutelage, the team improved every season and she led 40 student-athletes onto the CACC All-Academic team.
Her team won the inaugural CACC Team Academic Award for having the highest team grade point average (GPA), 3.63, in the league in 2018-19, ranking 10th in all of Division II, and the Devils were also awarded the CACC Team Sportsmanship Award after the 2019 campaign.
While at USciences, Padula was one of three coaches from the CACC selected to attend the 2019 NCAA Division II Identity Workshop, hosted at the NCAA National Office.
Padula joined USciences from her alma mater West Chester, where she returned to assume the position of assistant coach years after a standout playing career. In her one season with the Golden Rams, she helped lead the team to its best record in program history at 48-9.
Prior to returning to West Chester, she spent two seasons at both Division I Rider and Division III Farleigh Dickinson-Florham.
While working towards her Master’s in Sports Administration at Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham, her team was the first in school history to reach the MAC Championship Game.
As a four-year starter for West Chester, Padula helped the Golden Rams to back-to-back NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional appearances in 2008 and 2009.
After an All-Conference season during her sophomore year, she went on to break 12 school records over her final two seasons, becoming the first pitcher in program with more than 20 wins in a single season. She currently ranks second in program history in wins (61), shutouts (17), innings pitched (721.1) and appearances (146) and is third in strikeouts (366) and complete games (81).
During her time at West Chester, Padula participated in the Leadership Challenge Series and the State Farm Leadership Retreat and was also a participant in the Molly Shepard Mentor Program, which exposes students to women in leadership positions. She is a December 2015 graduate of the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy, which is held twice a year by the Alliance of Women Coaches. Padula also has completed Part 1 and Part 3 of the Coach Development Academy presented by True North Sports and Game Plan.
In addition to her coaching duties, she has also interned for the West Chester University Department of Athletics, Comcast Sportsnet and the New York Giants of the National Football League.
